Jeslin started her own musical journey at a young age and completed her ABRSM piano examinations in Malaysia by the age of 15. She went on to obtain her Associate Diploma in Piano Performance (ATCL) and Grade 8 Music Theory. She then pursued a Bachelor of Music (Honours) majoring in Classical piano performance, studying under the tutelage of well-reputable Canadian pianist Ms Geneviene Wong Jen Pei, and Mr. Lee Yin Hwa - the 3rd prize winner at the 1st Brevard Music Festival piano competition.
Jeslin's musical talents extend beyond the piano, as she also earned her certification in Contemporary Vocals and performed with the Dithyrambic Singers in Kuala Lumpur - the leading choral ensemble in Malaysia. Her educational qualifications include a Postgraduate in Education Research, which Jeslin pursued before obtaining her teaching license in the USA. Currently, she teaches the PYP and MYP IB Curriculum to Primary and Secondary students at one of the Top 5 International Schools in Singapore. Her teaching responsibilities include Orff music education, ukulele, recorder, drumming, Samba percussion, composition and band projects. She also leads the choral programme and works closely with the Performing Arts team.
